The Taust.ee portal is operated by Krediidiregister OÜ. Our objective is to collect background information about both private individuals and legal entities from various parties, process this data, and provide it to interested users. The information we gather helps you make better credit decisions and encourages payment discipline among your debtors.
The company database includes the following information:
• more than 270,000 active payment defaults;
• real time tax debt information and tax debt history for the past six months;
• the number of properties owned by an individual;
• court decisions and official notices associated with the individual;
• annual reports of companies and other documents, such as articles of association and commercial pledges.
The information in our database can be accessed either as a contractual client or as a regular user. The amount of information available free of charge to regular users is limited, while a full report containing complete information is available for a fee.

From 01 March to 31 December 2020, Krediidiregister OÜ carried out a development project titled “Predicting Corporate Failure” in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Tartu. The total cost of the project was 74,000 euros, of which 44,400 euros was financed under the measure “2014–2020.4.2 Increasing the Local Socioeconomic Impact of the RDI System and Smart Specialisation for the Development of Growth Areas (ICT, Health, Resources).”
