Taust.ee is a new official non-payment register that publishes the claims of most of Estonia's largest creditors (telecoms, banks, debt collection companies). Currently, more than 160,000 active payment defaults have been published in the register. The existence of payment defaults to other persons is the best criterion on the basis of which to make a decision to grant credit.

Taust.ee mediates the current state of tax debt published by the Estonian Tax and Customs Board and also the history of tax debt. The detailed dynamics of the tax debts of the last 6 months (end of the month and status after declarations) allows early identification of a person's liquidity problems. Non-payment of state taxes is typically preceded by non-payment of state taxes, and it is also important that the information is up-to-date (payment default is typically disclosed 30-60 days after its occurrence, but tax debt on the first day).
